According to Captain Ed, CENTCOM has captured Al Queda correspondence discussing the state of AQ all over Iraq. They are not happy about the state of affairs either. The AQ folk acknowledge that they can only pose an annoyance to the government. Sure they are going to take people out via car bombs, etc. but they seem to lack the strength to seriously threaten the long term stability of the government.

My guess is the MSM won't cover this except to ask, "Why aren't we out of there?"
