Columbia, SC is going to get a professional basketball team. It seems there is a new American Basketball Association (ABA). Well this brings us to theColumbia Rottweilers. They will be holding open tryouts, I rather like this feature. You are not as likely to see the pampered superstar types you have in the NBA.
I only have one problem, the name "Rotweilers". I have nothing against the breed, but when the team name gets shortened (like it is at the top of its website) it looks like the opinions held by people in Charleston, Greenville or Spartanburg (or just about any part of the state outside Columbia). That's right, "Columbia Rotts". Now they have a team that proudly proclaims it.
